It’s go time … it’s grow time!

When American Airlines began construction on their new Robert L. Crandall campus in 2016, they offered the Credit Union a prime location at the campus’ east entrance on FAA Boulevard.
The timing was perfect as we had outgrown our current headquarters facility and were already exploring off-site locations. With the entirety of the American staff vacating the nearby offices, it made sense to move to where a large portion of our membership was relocating and become a part of American’s “One Campus, One Team” initiative.
Construction began on our new, five-story, 153,000 square-foot facility in August of 2018, and was completed in January of this year. The new location, which is located at 14050 FAA Blvd., will open to our members on Feb. 18. It will house our main Flagship branch and the Flagship Financial Group, but will also serve as our new national headquarters. Our current Flagship branch location will close its doors for good at 6 p.m. Feb. 14.
Our new home will not only give us room to grow but will also incorporate a number of technological improvements that allow us to better serve our members and be much more energy efficient in the process. The building will use less water, incorporate native plants into landscaping, benefit from greywater recycling, generate energy with rooftop solar panels and make use of LED lights that automatically adjust in response to natural daylight.
Throughout the entire move process, everyone at American Airlines Credit Union is working hard to ensure our members can anticipate the same level of service and attentiveness they’ve come to expect from us. While we adjust to our new home, we remain confident that laying down these new roots will allow us, along with our members, to reach new heights together.
