Congratulations 2023 Scholarship Recipients
For more than a decade, American Airlines Federal Credit Union has been proud to invest in the futures of its young member-owners by providing scholarship awards toward higher education. This year, out of more than 300 initial applicants, the Credit Union was pleased to award a total of 11 scholarships. Six high school students and five college students each received a $4,000 scholarship.
"I never cease to be amazed at the level of talent and responsibility demonstrated by all of our scholarship canidates each year." said Lori Hall, Senior Vice President of Member Experience. Choosing only 11 students from the outstanding pool of young people who apply each year remains one of the most difficult tasks facing our scholarship team. Our members are raising an incredibel new generation of young minds ready to take on the challenges of today and tomorrow and we're proud to help give them a leg up"

Scholarship Awards Online Celebration
This year’s recipients once again participated in a special online group video conference with Credit Union CEO and President Gail Enda, along with Lori Hall, Senior Vice President Member Experience; and Kimberly McDaniel, Vice President Marketing and Business Development.
All of our winners got the opportunity to chat with and ask questions of Gail and Lori. Both gave insights into the aspects of their work that bring the most satisfaction, the biggest challenges they face in running a large financial institution and what educational and career advice they could impart.
