As American Airlines Federal Credit Union celebrated 86 years of serving our members, we thought the best way to commemorate the occasion was to spend a week celebrating our members.

Last month, all of our 46 branches across the nation decked out their locations and welcomed members by offering snacks, giveaways, thank-you gifts and even a $25 bonus for brand new members. We also celebrated over the weekend, reaching out to families with Saturday events.

Visitors throughout the week also had the opportunity to sign up for a chance to win one of three $1,000 prizes.

The contest drew more than 7,000 members to submit with 39,000 potential entries based on members’ product participation. From that pool, we selected just three lucky winners:

1. Douglas L. (Illinois) Credit Union member for 35 years.
2. Dwayne J. (New York) Credit Union member for 24 years.
3. Benjamin K. (Virginia) Credit Union member for 24 years.

Of course, no one left empty-handed, especially the more than 875 new members who joined the Credit Union family that week.
