SUMMARY: The Credit Union celebrated Aviation Week with a multi-day celebration that included parties at all 46 of our branches along with three lucky winners of $1,000.

American Airlines Federal Credit Union took to the skies in August when we hosted our Aviation Celebration Aug. 14-19, 2023. All 46 of our branches across the nation took part in the weeklong festivities, taking full advantage of the opportunity to jazz up their locations in honor of our industry which culminated on National Aviation Day, Aug. 19, 2023.

Members enjoyed snacks, giveaways, our exclusive thank-you gifts, plus a $25 bonus for new members. In-person attendees also had the chance to take home door prizes at each of our branch locations.

And everyone, including those who couldn’t attend, had the option to sign up for a chance to win one of three $1,000 prizes from anywhere in the country.

The cash prize contest had more than 9,000 potential entries and the lucky winners were:

• Michael S. of Haverhill, Maryland
• Rony V. of Lewisville, Texas
• Terry N. of Christiansburg, Virginia

Of course, no one left empty-handed, especially the more than 1,025 new members who joined the Credit Union family that week.
